Accounting Manager

About the role

EtihadWE is looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to support one of its subsidiaries. The role will ensure compliance with regulations, contribute to strategic financial planning, and enhance operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and bookkeeping.
• Provide timely and accurate financial reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
• Prepare and file tax returns, meeting all deadlines and regulatory requirements.
• Supervise daily accounting operations, focusing on ledger management.
• Implement internal controls to protect assets and ensure record accuracy.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors and prepare audit documentation.
• Support the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
• Analyse budget versus actual variances and recommend corrective actions.
• Monitor changes in accounting and tax legislation and ensure ongoing compliance.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Master’s degree or CPA preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and leadership abilities.
