Accounts Manager

About the role

Anchorage Shipping Line is seeking an experienced Accounts Manager to lead its Dubai accounting and finance operations. The role is suited to a finance professional with strong UAE experience and a background in shipping, freight forwarding, NVOCC, or logistics.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage accounting and finance operations.
• Oversee shipment costing, billing, collections and financial settlements.
• Monitor profitability and prepare financial performance reports.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure timely financial reporting.
• Coordinate with internal departments to support financial operations.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Provide management with financial analysis and operational insights.

Required profile

• 4–6 years of UAE accounting and finance experience.
• Experience in NVOCC, shipping, freight forwarding, or logistics is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of shipment costing, billing, collections, settlements, and profitability analysis.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple financial responsibilities effectively.
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting and reporting, logistics finance, and shipping operations.
