Accounting Manager, Tokenized Equities

About the role

Coinbase is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead the finance function for its Tokenized Equities product, which issues on‑chain tokens backed 1:1 by US stocks and ETFs. The role is senior, individual‑contributor and will build the accounting and reporting model from scratch, ensuring regulatory compliance with the Abu Dhabi Global Market (FSRA).

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement the end‑to‑end accounting model for token issuance, redemption, asset tracking and intercompany flows.
• Own regulatory reporting to the FSRA, including liaison, filing and ad‑hoc query response.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Legal, Tax, Treasury, FP&A and Finance Data to ensure accurate and scalable financial flows.
• Sign off on fund flows, posting rules, ledger structure, reconciliations and reporting prior to launch.
• Lead accounting analysis under US GAAP and IFRS for dividends, splits and balance‑sheet treatment.
• Establish a control environment with audit trails, books‑and‑records and data integrity across on‑chain and off‑chain systems.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA, CA or equivalent strongly preferred.
• Significant accounting or finance experience in a regulated environment such as capital markets, broker‑dealer, exchange or digital assets.
• Hands‑on experience working directly with a financial regulator on inquiries, examinations or filings.
• Proven ability to design finance processes for new products, entities or regulatory regimes.

Required skills

• Knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS accounting standards.
• Familiarity with the FSRA regulatory framework and rulebook.
• Experience using generative AI tools such as LibreChat, Gemini and Glean.

What we offer

• Annual base salary between 503,500 AED and 530,000 AED.
