Accounts Executive

About the role

Ventro Shipping & Logistics LLC is seeking a motivated Accounts Executive to support its finance function in Abu Dhabi. The role involves handling daily accounting tasks, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting with month‑end closing in a fast‑moving freight forwarding environment.

Key responsibilities

• Handle day‑to‑day accounting and financial transactions.
• Prepare and maintain invoices, receipts, debit notes, and credit notes.
• Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable records.
• Record and verify customer and supplier transactions.
• Assist with bank and account reconciliations.
• Follow up on outstanding customer receivables and supplier payments.
• Coordinate with operations and management regarding job costing and billing.
• Assist with monthly closing activities and financial report preparation.
• Maintain accurate expense records and support auditors when required.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of accounting experience preferred; fresh graduates with a relevant qualification are also welcome.
• Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related field.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Understanding of basic accounting principles.
