Assistant Manager – Accounts & Finance

About the role

Transworld is looking for a motivated Assistant Manager to support its Accounts & Finance function in Dubai. The role involves managing day‑to‑day financial operations, preparing management reports, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Candidates with experience in warehousing or logistics will be given preference.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in managing day‑to‑day accounting and finance operations.
• Prepare financial reports, MIS, and management reports.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash‑flow management activities.
• Coordinate audit processes and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
• Manage VAT‑related activities and account reconciliations.
• Utilize Oracle ERP to support financial operations and reporting.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve financial performance and operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in Accounts & Finance.
• Professional qualification such as CA, ACCA, CPA, CMA or equivalent.
• Experience in the warehousing or logistics industry is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, cash‑flow, audit, VAT and reconciliations.
