Accounts Payable Clerk – Dubai Resort

About the role

We are seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join the finance team at a luxury resort in Dubai. The role involves processing invoices, maintaining financial records, and supporting month‑end closing activities in a fast‑paced hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Check figures, postings and documents for accuracy and proper coding.
• Organise, secure and maintain files, records and cash equivalents in line with policies.
• Record, store and analyse financial information using electronic systems.
• Maintain electronic spreadsheets for accounting data and compile journals and ledgers.
• Prepare, review and distribute financial, auditing and payroll reports.
• Execute period‑end closing procedures and generate required reports.
• Prepare, reconcile and issue bills, invoices and account statements.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, confidentiality and asset protection.
• Provide professional service to guests and respond to internal inquiries.
• Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of relevant accounts payable or finance experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to lift objects up to 10 lb without assistance.
• Commitment to professional appearance and confidentiality.
