Adjunct Faculty – Computer Information Systems

About the role

The Higher Colleges of Technology seeks an Adjunct Faculty member to deliver high‑quality instruction in Computer Information Systems (CIS) courses. This temporary position supports second‑language learners within a student‑centric environment and contributes to the college’s academic and community activities.

Key responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate CIS subjects, covering regular courses, capstone projects, work‑experience modules, and senior‑level specialized topics.
• Maintain a teaching load of up to nine credit hours per semester, adhering to the scheduled class times.
• Participate actively in academic events, extra‑curricular activities, and community outreach initiatives.
• Collaborate with the Program Coordinator and report on course progress and student performance.

Required profile

• Master’s degree with a professional certification relevant to CIS, or a Bachelor’s degree combined with extensive industry experience and certification.
• Minimum of five years of relevant industry experience, preferably in CIS or related fields.
• Strong commitment to fostering respect for diverse cultures and traditions.
