Administrative Assistant

About the role

The Administrative Assistant will support the cash and admin functions of a retail store within Al-Futtaim Retail. This full‑time position ensures smooth daily operations, accurate cash handling, and proper documentation to minimise risk and support audit processes.

Key responsibilities

• Assist staff in the cash office and admin area, following daily procedures.
• Perform cash and credit‑card reconciliation, post entries, and ensure daily bank deposits.
• Monitor inventory reports on a daily/weekly basis and trigger corrective actions as needed.
• Archive all in‑store documents (cash, inventory, admin) for easy retrieval.
• Provide cooperation to internal and external auditors to facilitate audit completion.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience in retail cash office, store administration, accounts support, or inventory administration.
• Demonstrated cash‑office and reconciliation experience.
• Basic knowledge of inventory and stock‑control processes.
• Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow cash‑handling and audit procedures.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with retail management systems.
