Advanced Manufacturing Engineer I

About the role

POWERTECH is seeking an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer I to support the development and industrialization of propulsion engine programs. The role is hands‑on, focusing on machining, fabrication, and new‑product‑introduction activities for turbofan, micro‑jet, and piston engines.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, validate, and improve machining and fabrication processes for rotating and structural engine components.
• Support NPI activities from prototype build through production readiness, including ramp‑up and continuous improvement.
• Participate in concurrent engineering with design teams, providing manufacturability feedback and tolerance analysis.
• Interact with external suppliers, conduct process reviews, qualify parts, and resolve technical issues on the shop floor.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in aerospace or propulsion manufacturing.
• Hands‑on experience with machining or fabrication of rotating and structural components.
• Experience supporting prototype builds, NPI, or production environments.
• Strong problem‑solving ability and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in CAD/CAM systems and CNC programming for process definition and tool‑path development.
