Airbus A320 Captain – Abu Dhabi

About the role

Etihad Airways is seeking an experienced Airbus A320 Captain to join its growing fleet in Abu Dhabi. The role offers the chance to operate a modern narrow‑body aircraft on a variety of regional and international routes while contributing to the airline’s ambitious expansion plans.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the flight deck crew, ensuring safe, efficient and compliant operation of each flight.
• Conduct pre‑flight planning, performance calculations and briefings in line with Etihad procedures.
• Monitor aircraft systems, navigation, weather and terrain throughout the flight, taking corrective action when required.
• Maintain clear communication with air traffic control, cabin crew and ground operations.
• Mentor junior crew members and support their progression toward command.

Required profile

• Current Airbus A320 type rating and a valid commercial pilot licence.
• Significant command experience on narrow‑body aircraft.
• Demonstrated professionalism, strong decision‑making and teamwork.
• Willingness to relocate to Abu Dhabi and adapt to a multicultural environment.
