Airfreight Operation Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking an Air Freight Operations Coordinator to manage and coordinate air cargo shipments for our freight forwarder customers in Dubai. The role involves close interaction with airlines, ground handling agents, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate cargo movement.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate shipments with freight forwarder customers, airlines, and ground handling agents.
• Handle booking, cargo acceptance, flight status monitoring, and uplift processes.
• Verify AWB, cargo details, documentation, and airline cut‑off requirements.
• Provide regular shipment status updates to customers and resolve operational issues such as delays, offloads, and discrepancies.
• Arrange trucking/road feeder services when required and liaise with the pricing team after booking confirmation.

Required profile

• Minimum 2–3 years of air freight or cargo operations experience.
• Experience with airline cargo departments, GSSA/GSA, freight forwarders, or cargo handling companies, preferably with knowledge of DXB/DWC operations.
• Strong communication, coordination, and follow‑up abilities; able to work independently and handle urgent shipments.
