AOG Desk Front Officer

About the role

The AOG Desk Front Officer is the first point of contact for customers needing urgent aircraft on‑ground (AOG) support. The role combines customer service with operational oversight to ensure fast, compliant, and profitable transportation solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Answer and handle customer requests, advise on weather, geopolitical or trade‑compliance restrictions, and propose suitable transport solutions (White/Orange/Purple).
• Create and manage shipment files in the F.A.S.T system, give clear instructions to Back Officers, and track AOGs in real time.
• Negotiate with carriers and suppliers, validate service quotes, and keep customers informed throughout the process.
• Supervise Back Officers, prioritize files, manage dispute cases, and ensure adherence to SOPs, quality and safety standards.

Required profile

• 6‑8 years of experience in the logistics industry, with a solid understanding of international air transport operations.
• Valid driving licence and ability to use a personal vehicle for work‑related travel.
• Willingness to work 24/7/365 coverage, including shift work, weekends, nights and public holidays.
• Strong customer‑service orientation, stress resistance and ability to work proactively in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Business English (read, written, spoken).
• Knowledge of computer tools.
• Mastery of international air transport regulations (Incoterms, customs rules, etc.).
• Mastery of the specificities of all modes of transportation.
