Applied Aerodynamics Engineer

About the role

ADASI, a leading aerospace innovator, is looking for an Applied Aerodynamics Engineer to support the design and development of aircraft, missiles, unmanned vehicles and major aerodynamic components. The role will involve advanced aerodynamic analysis across sub‑sonic to hypersonic regimes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead aerodynamic work packages for complete vehicle designs.
• Perform CFD studies, mesh‑sensitivity and turbulence‑model assessments.
• Develop and validate aerodynamic databases and reduced‑order models.
• Define, support and interpret wind‑tunnel test programs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams during design trades and lifecycle reviews.
• Prepare technical reports, test plans and substantiation evidence.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical, Mechanical, Applied Mathematics, Physics or related field.
• Master’s or PhD in Aerodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, CFD or related discipline (preferred).
• 10+ years of aerospace or applied fluid‑dynamics experience.
• Proven experience with sub‑sonic, transonic, supersonic or hypersonic aerodynamics.
• Professional proficiency in written and spoken English.
