Appointed Person – Lifting Operations (Abu Dhabi)

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site position in Abu Dhabi is for an Appointed Person responsible for planning and supervising lifting operations. You will ensure that all lifting activities comply with local and international standards, company procedures, and HSE requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and approve lifting plans and risk assessments for each operation.
• Supervise lifting activities, coordinating crane operators, riggers and site supervisors.
• Select appropriate lifting equipment and verify pre‑use inspections and certifications.
• Monitor compliance with HSE standards, safe systems of work and relevant regulations.
• Support incident prevention, participate in HSE meetings and drive continuous improvement of lifting practices.

Required profile

• LEEA – APLO certification (ADNOC approval preferred).
• 3‑5 years of experience in lifting operations within construction, oil & gas, infrastructure or manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of lifting regulations, HSE standards and safe systems of work.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, lift plans and equipment specifications.
