About the role

Aurora Hikma, the GCC’s leading Arabic‑first marketing and translation agency, is seeking an emerging Emirati copywriter who is passionate about crafting words in both Arabic and English. This full‑time position is based in Dubai with a hybrid work model, offering mentorship and a clear growth path within a creative team focused on the UAE market.

Key responsibilities

• Write, edit, and proofread Arabic and English copy for social media, websites, campaigns, and brand assets.
• Transcreate concepts between languages, ensuring natural, audience‑specific messaging.
• Develop and maintain consistent brand voices across all platforms.
• Brainstorm taglines, names, and campaign hooks with the creative team.
• Adapt tone and length from short captions to longer‑form pieces for varied audiences.
• Collaborate closely with designers and strategists to align words with visuals.
• Monitor local culture, trends, and nuances to keep copy authentically Emirati.

Required profile

• UAE national (Emirati) as part of the Emiratization commitment.
• Native‑level written Arabic and strong written English.
• 0–4 years of writing experience; a compelling portfolio is essential.
• Deep understanding of UAE audience, modern standard Arabic and Emirati dialect.
• Based in or near Dubai and able to work on a hybrid schedule.
• Curious, organized, and open to feedback and coaching.

Required skills

• Canva proficiency for basic design support.
• Basic SEO awareness to optimise copy for search.
