Architect – Building Projects

About the role

The Architect will lead the development of architectural designs for building projects, ensuring that all drawings, specifications, and construction activities align with the design intent, regulatory requirements, and quality standards. The role spans from design development through construction and final handover.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review architectural drawings, shop drawings, and construction details.
• Coordinate with structural, MEP, and other engineering disciplines to resolve design conflicts.
• Review project specifications, BOQs, and material submittals for compliance.
• Conduct site inspections to verify work quality and adherence to approved drawings.
• Collaborate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers on design‑related matters.
• Manage RFIs, technical queries, and shop drawing submissions.
• Support material selection, approval processes, and value‑engineering activities.
• Participate in design coordination meetings and progress reviews.
• Prepare as‑built drawings and handover documentation.
• Ensure health, safety, and quality compliance throughout project execution.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture.
• 5–8 years of architectural experience on building construction projects.
• Experience in the UAE/GCC region is highly preferred.
• Membership with a recognized professional body is an advantage.
• Experience with residential, commercial, high‑rise, mixed‑use, hospitality, and villa developments.
