Architect – Design Development & Coordination

About the role

NAGANAGA Architects, Designers & Planners is seeking a talented Architect to join its multidisciplinary team. The role involves shaping projects from concept through design development, collaborating with internal disciplines and external consultants to deliver high‑quality architectural solutions across the UAE, Egypt and Saudi Arabia.

Key responsibilities

• Develop architectural designs from concept through design development stages.
• Prepare drawings, design documentation and presentation materials.
• Coordinate with structural, MEP, landscape and other consultants throughout the design process.
• Ensure compliance with project requirements, local authority regulations and building codes.
• Participate in client meetings, design workshops and project presentations.
• Assist in preparing authority submission packages and technical documentation.
• Support project managers in meeting timelines and deliverables.
• Review drawings and manage design changes throughout the project lifecycle.
• Produce detailed construction documentation when required.
• Stay updated on industry trends, design technologies and sustainability best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture.
• 4–8 years of professional experience within an architectural consultancy.
• Experience on residential, hospitality, commercial, mixed‑use or master‑planning projects.
• Strong understanding of architectural design principles, construction methodologies and local regulations.
• GCC experience is highly preferred.
