Area Shift Leader – PCBA

About the role

Eaton is seeking an Area Shift Leader for PCBA to oversee production operations during assigned shifts at its Dubai campus. The role ensures that output, quality, safety, and efficiency targets are consistently met across both SMT and back‑end assembly processes.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate production activities across multiple SMT and THT PCBA lines to achieve the full production plan.
• Maintain balanced flow from SMT, THT, testing, inspection, and packing, preventing bottlenecks.
• Optimize manpower, material readiness, and equipment utilization.
• Implement ECO/MCO changes and enforce IPC‑A‑610 workmanship standards.
• Lead operators to meet area‑level performance targets such as OEE and FPY.
• Conduct shift handovers, communicate priorities, and document performance dashboards and MES data.
• Perform regular layer‑process audits and define improvement plans.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience in PCBA manufacturing, covering both surface‑mount (SMT) and through‑hole (THT) processes.
• Proven ability to lead a team of operators in a high‑volume production environment.
• Strong focus on quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
