Assessment Manager

About the role

The Assessment Manager will lead the review, evaluation and continuous improvement of assessment processes at ADVETI, ensuring high standards of student success and compliance with policy. This senior position requires strategic insight and the ability to influence teaching and assessment practices across the institute.

Key responsibilities

• Review and report on assessment policies, methods, activities and results.
• Provide systemic and specific recommendations for continuous improvement of assessment.
• Design and manage staff professional development programmes aimed at enhancing assessment quality.
• Contribute to institutional self‑assessment reports as required.
• Deliver presentations at all organisational levels and offer specialist advice on assessment matters.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years’ experience in tertiary/vocational education, with a focus on leading assessment systems and moderation processes.
• Proven ability to manage staff development and drive student success.
• Experience in both Western and UAE educational contexts is highly valued.
• Maturity, intelligence, energy, sense of humor, diplomacy and strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, handle extra hours, and maintain a professional appearance.
• Native English speaker.
