Assistant Brand Manager

About the role

The Assistant Brand Manager supports the planning and execution of brand strategies, focusing on project management for new product innovations and on‑ground brand experiences within the food sector.

Key responsibilities

• Manage timelines for New Product Development (NPD) and Product Portfolio Architecture (PPA) to ensure on‑time launches.
• Act as the central liaison between R&D, Procurement, and Sales to drive product approvals and stage‑gate milestones.
• Oversee the artwork approval process, ensuring designs meet brand guidelines and deadlines.
• Track and report monthly Advertising & Communication (A&C) expenditures against the approved budget.
• Manage the end‑to‑end purchase order process, ensuring timely vendor payments and accurate accruals.
• Update packaging artwork for nutritional facts, ingredient lists, and legal claims to maintain regulatory compliance.
• Maintain an organized digital asset library and ensure all SKUs reflect current branding.
• Collaborate with QA/R&D to verify packaging changes meet food safety and local regulations.
• Lead the execution of brand events, from creative brief to on‑site coordination.

Required profile

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar brand management role, preferably in FMCG or Food & Beverage.
• Strong knowledge of the marketing mix, product development, competitor assessment, and financial management.
• Practical understanding of the 4Ps of marketing and solid financial literacy for budget handling and PPA analysis.
