Assistant Early Childhood Educator

About the role

The Ivy is launching a new early childhood campus in Business Bay and seeks a warm, dedicated Assistant Educator to support the Lead Educator. This full‑time position offers the chance to work in a premium, Reggio‑inspired environment while gaining hands‑on experience with young learners.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Lead Educator in delivering engaging, hands‑on learning experiences.
• Maintain a beautiful, well‑prepared classroom and ensure a safe, nurturing environment.
• Provide attentive care that supports each child’s physical, emotional, and developmental needs.
• Prepare and organize materials for lessons and activities, encouraging participation and creativity.
• Observe children’s behavior and progress, share insights with the Lead Educator, and contribute to developmental records.
• Support open, positive communication with families, offering daily insights about their child.
• Collaborate with the teaching team to uphold The Ivy’s philosophy and standards.

Required profile

• High school diploma (required); Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field is a plus.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in an early childhood setting or working with young children.
• Warm, engaging manner with a genuine passion for early childhood education.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Pediatric First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain before opening).
• Strong English proficiency; Arabic or French is a significant plus.
• Valid UAE visa.

Required skills

• CACHE Level 2 or 3 (or equivalent) aligned with KHDA standards.
