Assistant Engineer - Calibration

About the role

The Calibration Assistant Engineer ensures that all instruments and testing devices used in our manufacturing plants and R&D laboratories are accurately calibrated, maintained, and compliant with cGMP, ISO 17025, safety, and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform calibration of instruments and testing devices according to defined standards and document results.
• Enter calibration data into SAP, label instruments, and close notifications on the same day.
• Support engineering and maintenance activities, including preventive maintenance programs.
• Coordinate third‑party calibration, review raw data, upload certificates to SAP, and obtain area clearance.
• Close monthly M5 notifications for calibrated reference standards and follow up on any delays.
• Prepare and submit monthly KPI reports to the supervisor.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, safety procedures, and audit requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Good knowledge of cGMP, good documentation practices, and ISO 17025 guidelines.
• Understanding of measurement‑uncertainty calculations and calibration standards.
• Strong English communication, problem‑solving, time‑management, and task‑management skills.
