Assistant Engineer

About the role

The Assistant Engineer will support the Engineering Section by performing preventive and corrective maintenance on a range of electrical systems and equipment. Working on‑site in Ras Al Khaimah, you will ensure reliable operation of critical assets while adhering to safety and cGMP standards.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance for electrical systems, automatic doors, cleaning machines, electrical and diesel forklifts.
• Identify, report and mitigate technical faults and safety risks following established procedures.
• Execute breakdown maintenance, troubleshoot malfunctions and replace damaged components.
• Read and follow SOPs, manuals, drawings, specifications, blueprints and technical diagrams.
• Maintain documentation, collect electrical parameters for daily checklists, and handle SAP PM/CM notifications, receiving reports and purchase requisitions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to avoid production interruptions and support all electrical activities during shifts.

Required profile

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical maintenance or a similar field.
• Good knowledge of electrical codes, generation and distribution systems, and equipment installation.
• Familiarity with cGMP, data integrity principles and quality‑system requirements.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills.
