Assistant General Manager

About the role

The Assistant General Manager will support the delivery of exceptional guest experiences at Atlantis, The Palm’s flagship restaurant. Reporting to senior leadership, you will oversee all operational aspects of the outlet, from service standards to financial performance, ensuring the brand’s luxury standards are consistently met.

Key responsibilities

• Drive daily service excellence and maximise guest satisfaction.
• Develop and maintain a guest database to encourage repeat visits.
• Collect and act on guest feedback, implementing continuous improvement plans.
• Lead the outlet, delegating tasks, coaching managers, and meeting performance targets.
• Guide the team on upselling techniques and monitor KPI achievement.
• Recruit, train and retain high‑performing staff in partnership with HR.
• Ensure compliance with service standards, safety, cleanliness and company policies.
• Act as a brand ambassador, upholding Atlantis Dubai standards.
• Own short‑, mid‑ and long‑term business development, marketing initiatives and team growth.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing a full‑service restaurant in a luxury hospitality environment.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
• Excellent guest service orientation and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage food and labour costs and contribute to P&L performance.
• Commitment to safety, cleanliness and adherence to company policies.
