Assistant Manager – Buying (Home)

About the role

Landmark Group’s Lifestyle brand is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead buying for its Home category. The role focuses on developing seasonal ranges, managing vendor relationships and optimizing inventory across its extensive retail network in the UAE.

Key responsibilities

• Develop customer‑focused seasonal product ranges, ensuring alignment with brand identity and category structure.
• Build and maintain strong supplier partnerships, handling issue resolution and supporting timely product delivery.
• Monitor sales, stock levels and warehouse inventory to drive replenishment decisions and manage slow‑moving stock.
• Ensure consistent merchandising standards across stores, using market insights and competitor benchmarks.
• Conduct competitor and market analysis to identify trends, benchmark pricing and inform new product development.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of buying experience, preferably in bathroom and home textiles.
• Proven experience in managing buying budgets and vendor relationships.
• Strong product development and market research capabilities.
• Solid financial and business acumen.
• Excellent negotiation, relationship management and planning skills.
• Team player with leadership abilities and attention to detail.
