Assistant Manager - Guest Relations

About the role

Jumeirah Zabeel Saray is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead its Guest Relations team. Reporting to senior management, you will ensure that VIP guests receive seamless, personalized service throughout their stay at this luxury beachfront resort.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee VIP arrivals, departures and in‑stay experiences, coordinating with all relevant departments.
• Conduct pre‑arrival and room inspections for VIP guests to meet Jumeirah and LQA standards.
• Identify repeat and loyal guests, record preferences and anticipate needs to build lasting relationships.
• Coach, train and manage the Guest Relations team, ensuring adherence to SOPs and performance targets.
• Control departmental staffing, costs and compliance with financial and service policies.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Hospitality; trainer certification is a plus.
• 5‑8 years of experience leading Front Office or Guest Relations in a luxury hotel environment.
• Proven ability to handle VIP guests, resolve complex complaints and maintain high service standards.
• Strong leadership, problem‑solving and time‑management skills with flexibility for varied shifts.
