Assistant Manager - Infrastructure Excellence

About the role

The Assistant Manager – Infrastructure Excellence will support the Manager of Infrastructure in planning, developing and maintaining the physical assets that keep Dubai Holding Community Management’s districts and residential areas operating smoothly. This position is based in Dubai and focuses on ensuring reliable roads, lighting, drainage and utility networks across a portfolio of premium communities.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Infrastructure Manager in planning and developing new infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with growth strategies and regulatory requirements.
• Review and provide initial technical input on designs, specifications and proposals for infrastructure assets.
• Support the integration of new assets into existing community networks.
• Coordinate and monitor daily maintenance and operation of roads, street lighting, storm‑water drainage and utility networks (water, sewerage, irrigation).
• Implement preventative maintenance programmes and schedules.
• Oversee service providers and contractors, ensuring compliance with Service Level Agreements and key performance indicators.
• Maintain readiness for emergency situations and ensure mandatory on‑site presence when required.
• Guarantee statutory and regulatory compliance for all infrastructure activities.

Required profile

• Experience supporting infrastructure planning and maintenance within a community or district management environment.
• Familiarity with roads, lighting, drainage and utility network operations.
• Ability to work with contractors and service providers to meet SLA and KPI targets.
• Understanding of statutory and regulatory requirements related to infrastructure assets.
