Assistant Manager Learning and Development

About the role

The Assistant Manager – Learning & Development will support the Cluster Learning & Development Manager in designing, delivering and overseeing training programmes for all colleagues at One&Only The Palm Resort. This role ensures that learning initiatives align with both individual growth and the resort’s brand standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, plan and manage learning and development programmes for resort staff.
• Monitor programme effectiveness and adjust content to meet organisational needs.
• Collaborate with department heads to identify training gaps and create tailored solutions.
• Maintain compliance with brand standards and quality benchmarks.
• Prepare reports on training outcomes and present insights to senior management.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of experience in an upscale luxury hospitality or five‑star hotel environment.
• Background in learning, coaching and development with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal, analytical and communication skills in English; additional language is a plus.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
• Middle East/GCC experience is advantageous.
