Assistant Manager – Procurement

About the role

We are seeking an Assistant Manager – Procurement to lead procurement activities for a leading real‑estate developer in the UAE. The role will oversee the full tendering cycle, from package preparation to award, ensuring cost‑effective and compliant sourcing for main contracts, consultancy services and nominated subcontractors.

Key responsibilities

• Manage procurement for main contract works, consultancy services, enabling works and direct purchases.
• Review tender packages for completeness and coordinate the tendering process to meet project schedules.
• Respond to RFIs, issue tender clarifications, and analyse bids against budget and historical data.
• Negotiate with bidders to achieve budget compliance and favourable commercial terms.
• Prepare and issue Letters of Award, consultancy agreements and nomination letters.
• Maintain procurement logs, update vendor pre‑qualification lists and develop new sourcing opportunities.

Required profile

• Quantity Surveyor with 5‑10 years of experience in estimation and quantity take‑off.
• Background in main contracting or real‑estate development (towers, villas, master‑developments) within the UAE.
• Graduation or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
