Assistant Manager - Reservations

About the role

The Assistant Manager – Reservations will support the delivery of exceptional guest experiences at Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab, Dubai’s newest luxury lifestyle destination. Reporting to senior reservation leadership, you will coordinate with sales, revenue, and operations teams to optimise booking performance and uphold the brand’s high service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure internal and external service quality, commercial performance and KPI alignment for the reservations department.
• Collaborate with Sales, Revenue Management and Hotel Operations to maximise revenue opportunities and minimise inefficiencies.
• Supervise daily, weekly and monthly tasks related to reservations, audits, revenue, compliance, finance, visas and group bookings.
• Identify and escalate revenue, finance or guest‑experience risks to senior management for proactive resolution.
• Monitor and resolve guest complaints promptly by coordinating with relevant departments.
• Keep the team updated on property information, new rates, service offerings and selling strategies.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in a similar role within a 5‑star hotel environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality or a related field from an accredited university.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and a proactive approach to guest service recovery.
• Proven ability to handle complaints of varying severity.
• Experience working in a multicultural setting.
