Assistant Manager – Soft Services (Facilities Management)

About the role

We are seeking an Assistant Manager – Soft Services to join our Total Facilities Management team in Dubai. You will support daily operations, ensure high service standards, and resolve any issues to maintain client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in managing budgets and expenses for cleaning operations while maintaining quality.
• Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Handle and resolve customer complaints regarding cleanliness promptly.
• Conduct regular facility inspections to assess and improve cleanliness standards.
• Plan and organise daily cleaning schedules, ensuring optimal resource allocation.
• Supervise, train and provide performance feedback to cleaning staff.
• Ensure preventive maintenance (PPM) and service requests (SR) are closed on time.
• Collaborate on cleaning procedures, compliance, and documentation.
• Promote health and safety compliance for the cleaning team.
• Prepare monthly staff meetings and daily/weekly briefings.
• Stay updated on industry trends and new cleaning technologies.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience in facility management, preferably in a managerial role.
• At least 2 years managing mall operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in facilities management or related field and BICSc training certificate.
• Proven project‑management and continuous‑improvement experience.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of heavy‑duty cleaning machines.
• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and their safe use.
• Understanding of cleaning procedures and methods.
