Assistant Operations Supervisor

About the role

The Assistant Operations Supervisor supports the Operations Supervisor in planning, allocating resources and delivering airline catering services in Dubai. The role ensures timely equipment delivery, safety compliance and optimal cost efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare resource allocation in collaboration with the Operations Supervisor based on demand to meet objectives and optimise resources.
• Coordinate timely delivery of catering equipment with various stakeholders.
• Delegate and supervise team members in preparation, dispatch and loading of catering items, ensuring safety and quality standards.
• Support team training, resolve performance or operational issues and promote a culture of safety and efficiency.
• Lead Behaviour Based Safety Management checks to minimise food safety hazards and comply with SOPs and regulations.
• Manage inventory levels by monitoring stock, tracking usage and coordinating with stakeholders to meet passenger demand while minimising waste.
• Identify improvement areas and propose plans to enhance efficiency, reduce costs and improve customer experience.

Required profile

• Diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 3 years experience in flight operations, food packing or logistics, preferably in airline catering or food industry.
• At least 2 years experience in a team‑leader capacity (preferred).
