Assistant Planner – Retail & E‑Commerce

About the role
The Assistant Planner supports Al‑Futtaim’s planning function by creating accurate financial, sales and inventory forecasts across multiple channels and markets. Working closely with merchandising, allocation, retail and supply‑chain teams, the role ensures that business plans are realistic and executed on time.
Key responsibilities
- Develop annual business plans by market and business unit.
- Produce weekly WSSI reports for Clothing & Home, Food and the total business.
- Manage markdown strategies and monitor inventory levels.
- Build seasonal and annual sales forecasts for retail, e‑commerce and omnichannel.
- Prepare financial projections for gross profit, margin, markdown and inventory.
- Track performance versus plan, highlighting risks and opportunities.
Required profile
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
- Good understanding of retail and e‑commerce dynamics.
