Motor Underwriting Analyst – UAE National (Dubai)

About the role

The successful candidate will organise, analyse data and maintain systematic computerized records related to premiums, ensuring efficient control over the company’s motor underwriting business.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and underwrite motor insurance applications in line with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Handle day‑to‑day underwriting functions promptly, adhering to prescribed guidelines and procedures.
• Monitor client risk management, claims history and other relevant information to determine coverage and premium rates.
• Scrutinise new submissions, analyse risk against underwriting guidelines and support underwriting decisions.
• Process new and renewal policy documents, terms & conditions, endorsements and service requests accurately within defined KPIs.
• Deliver the highest standard of customer experience to business partners and clients.

Required profile

• Relevant university degree or general insurance qualification.
• 0–3 years of experience in motor underwriting, handling similar responsibilities.
• Technical knowledge of motor retail and fleet underwriting and related insurance operations.
• Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines and agreed turnaround times.
