Assistant Plumber

About the role

IIQAF Group is looking for a hardworking Assistant Plumber to support plumbing installation, maintenance, repair and troubleshooting across its hospitality facilities in Dubai. The role works under the supervision of qualified plumbers and maintenance technicians.

Key responsibilities

• Assist plumbers with installation, maintenance, repair and troubleshooting of water supply, drainage and sanitary systems.
• Support plumbing work in hotel rooms, bathrooms, kitchens, restaurants, laundry areas, public zones and staff facilities.
• Help install and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, toilets, wash basins, showers, faucets and other fixtures.
• Perform pipe cutting, threading, joining, soldering and sealing under supervision.
• Report defects, leaks and safety hazards to the supervising plumber.
• Coordinate with electricians, HVAC technicians, carpenters and housekeeping when plumbing work impacts other services.

Required profile

• High school diploma, technical diploma, vocational qualification or equivalent (preferred).
• Plumbing trade certificate or relevant technical training (advantage).
• Previous experience as an Assistant Plumber, Plumbing Helper or Junior Plumber (preferred).
• Basic knowledge of water supply, drainage, sewage and sanitary plumbing systems.
• Physically capable of lifting materials and working in confined spaces.
