About the role

The College of Health Sciences at Abu Dhabi University is seeking an Assistant Professor in Clinical Psychology to join its faculty. The appointment begins on 10 August 2025 and involves teaching, research, and practicum supervision for undergraduate and graduate programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses such as Abnormal Psychology, Clinical Assessment, Psychopathology, Counseling Techniques, and Psychotherapy.
• Conduct and publish research in clinical psychology, mental health, psychotherapy, or psychological assessment.
• Mentor and supervise students in seminars, tutorials, internships, and practicum projects.
• Design and deliver experiential learning activities, including clinical simulations and case studies.
• Participate in curriculum review and development to meet accreditation standards.
• Support assessment of student learning outcomes and contribute to programme improvement.
• Engage in community outreach to raise mental‑health awareness.

Required profile

• Demonstrated expertise in clinical psychology and mental health.
• Experience teaching undergraduate and graduate courses.
• Active research record with publications in peer‑reviewed journals.
• Ability to supervise practicum experiences and mentor students.
• Experience in curriculum development and community outreach activities.
