Assistant Purchasing Manager

About the role

The Lana, part of the Dorchester Collection, is seeking an Assistant Purchasing Manager to support its procurement function. This role works closely with the Purchasing Manager and the wider Dorchester Collection Procurement team to secure high‑quality goods and services for the hotel.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Purchasing Manager in negotiating and establishing contracts with competitive pricing.
• Maintain and develop positive relationships with existing suppliers.
• Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with company policies and quality standards.
• Oversee all purchases to guarantee adherence to internal procedures.
• Collaborate with the group’s procurement platform to align local purchasing with global standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in purchasing or procurement within the hospitality sector.
• Strong negotiation and contract‑management abilities.
• Ability to build and sustain supplier relationships.
• Attention to compliance, quality, and cost‑effectiveness.
