Assistant Recreation Manager

About the role

The Assistant Recreation Manager supports the recreation team in delivering engaging activities and a safe, enjoyable environment for hotel guests. Working on‑site in Dubai, you will help create activity agendas, manage inventory, and ensure high‑quality service throughout the recreation facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Create recreational activity agendas and promotional materials using publishing software.
• Conduct inventory checks of supplies, equipment and materials, reporting low stock to the manager.
• Encourage, register and schedule guests for a variety of recreation activities.
• Promote safety rules, monitor activities and respond to emergencies according to local procedures.
• Provide first‑aid assistance to injured guests until emergency services arrive.
• Maintain and clean recreation equipment and facilities.
• Assist management in training, motivating and coaching recreation staff.
• Process guest orders and transactions using point‑of‑sale systems.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related recreation or hospitality experience.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience.
• CPR and First Aid certifications.
• Ability to work on your feet for extended periods and lift up to 25 lb unaided.
