Assistant Sales Manager

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Assistant Sales Manager to support our commercial team in Dubai. The role involves driving sales growth across retail and distribution channels for consumer‑goods and lifestyle brands.

Key responsibilities

• Support day‑to‑day commercial operations and account management.
• Prepare sales reports, performance dashboards and business reviews using Excel.
• Analyze sell‑in, sell‑out, inventory and promotional performance data.
• Assist in creating customer presentations, listings and commercial proposals.
• Coordinate product launches, promotions and retail activations with internal teams.
• Manage product listing forms, customer documentation and retailer requirements.
• Track customer orders, stock availability and delivery timelines.
• Maintain accurate sales records, pricing files and customer databases.
• Support forecasting, demand planning and replenishment activities.
• Liaise with marketing, operations, finance and supply‑chain teams to ensure smooth execution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Retail Management or related field.
• 2–5 years experience in buying, merchandising, category management, sales support or commercial operations.
• Experience in consumer goods, FMCG, lifestyle, children’s products, homeware or retail preferred.
• Strong analytical, numerical and organizational abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• UAE experience is an advantage.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data analysis, reporting).
• Strong Microsoft PowerPoint for professional presentations.
