Assistant Spa Manager

About the role

The Assistant Spa Manager supports daily spa operations, ensuring guests receive high‑quality treatments and services. This role involves coordinating schedules, advising staff, and maintaining standards across the spa and salon areas.

Key responsibilities

• Advise employees on property information, policies, and service details; answer guest questions about amenities and treatments.
• Confirm guest names and treatment types, monitor schedules, and communicate last‑minute changes to providers.
• Promote and sell spa and salon services and retail products, and complete requisitions for supplies.
• Inspect work areas and equipment for compliance with company standards; report maintenance needs to Engineering.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, and coaching staff; report accidents and unsafe conditions.
• Welcome guests, anticipate service needs, and ensure a professional appearance and confidentiality.

Required profile

• Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Work experience: Minimum 2 years of related experience in a spa, salon, or hospitality setting.
• No supervisory experience required; no specific license or certification needed.
