Assistant Stewarding Manager

About the role

Rotana Hotels is seeking a dynamic and self‑motivated Assistant Stewarding Manager to support the Stewarding Manager in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene across its food‑processing facilities. Based at Park Rotana and Park Arjaan Abu Dhabi, you will help lead a multicultural team in delivering prompt, accurate, and personalized service.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Stewarding Manager in enforcing cleanliness, hygiene, and quality standards throughout all stewarding operations.
• Supervise daily duties of stewarding staff, facilities, equipment, and associated costs.
• Oversee sanitation processes, proper use of chemicals and washing accessories, and ensure product quality.
• Coordinate stock levels, approve storeroom requisitions, and manage par supplies.
• Liaise with the Assistant Food & Beverage Manager or Outlet Manager to align daily requirements.
• Maintain health inspection records, attendance logs, and casual employee files.
• Implement measures to minimise loss of silverware and flatware.

Required profile

• Degree in Hospitality or related field.
• Previous experience in a hotel stewarding department.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Strong interpersonal, problem‑solving, and cross‑cultural sensitivity.
• Detail‑oriented with a commitment to quality and hygiene.
• Proactive, hands‑on leadership style and ability to work under pressure.
• Team‑player who thrives in a fast‑paced, multicultural environment.
