Assistant Teacher

About the role

Kangaroo Kids Nursery, a well‑established early years centre in Al Safa 2, is seeking enthusiastic Assistant Teachers to support the development and wellbeing of children aged 0‑5. You will work closely with lead teachers to deliver the British EYFS curriculum in a caring, inclusive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist lead teachers in planning and implementing daily learning activities.
• Support children’s personal, social and emotional development.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating classroom environment.
• Observe and record children’s progress and communicate observations to parents and staff.
• Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Attested degree or qualification in Teaching, Nursing, or Childcare.
• Previous experience in a nursery or school setting, preferably with the British EYFS curriculum.
• Passion for early childhood education and a commitment to the nursery’s values of happiness, active learning, and kindness.
