Assistant Vice President PMO

About the role

The Assistant Vice President PMO will lead the Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) in delivering strategic projects and programs for Aldar Properties. This senior position is responsible for establishing governance frameworks, prioritising initiatives, and ensuring alignment with the organisation's overall strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end lifecycle of high‑impact projects and programs, from identification to implementation.
• Develop and maintain PMO methodologies, tools, and organisational structures.
• Prioritise initiatives, define milestones, and coordinate with business owners to ensure timely delivery.
• Manage inter‑dependencies, risks, and escalations across the project portfolio.
• Report progress, risks, and achievements to senior management.
• Allocate and plan EPMO manpower, conduct regular performance reviews, and support career development.
• Ensure quality assurance of project artefacts and deliverables.
• Oversee change‑request management in line with approved policies.
• Identify training needs for initiative teams and monitor training effectiveness.
• Collaborate with the Strategy team on research, analysis, and ad‑hoc strategic projects.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in a Project Management Office role, preferably within the real‑estate sector or a corporate holding structure.
• Proven track record of managing full project lifecycles with teams of 5‑25 members.
• Strong ability to lead cross‑functional initiatives and influence senior stakeholders.
