Associate Designer I – Culinary

About the role

As an Associate Designer I (Culinary) at IFF, you will join a global leader in flavors and food ingredients, working onsite in Dubai. You will support the design team in creating technology‑enabled flavor concepts that shape brand identities and market trends.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in all project phases from receipt to execution under supervision.
• Develop creative project tasks and contribute to solution recommendations.
• Apply knowledge of GRA legislation and regulatory restrictions to flavor development.
• Refine design language and conduct flavor and ingredient portfolio searches.
• Utilize IFF software and databases to support design activities.
• Analyze competition portfolios and market segmentation.
• Collaborate with production, quality control, sales, marketing and consumer insights teams.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of experience in taste design, flavors or food markets.
• Bachelor’s degree in Food Sciences, Food Technology or a related technical field.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with production, quality, sales and marketing.
• Strong understanding of functional ingredients, flavoring materials and end‑use applications.
• Commitment to health, safety and environmental policies.
