Associate – US Private Equity (Global Fund)

About the role

Our client, a prestigious global investment firm based in Abu Dhabi, is seeking an Associate to support direct private equity investments focused on the United States. The role offers exposure to a broad range of sectors and involves the full transaction lifecycle, from origination to portfolio management.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in all stages of private equity transactions, including deal sourcing, due diligence, execution, and post‑investment monitoring.
• Develop and analyse detailed financial models to assess investment opportunities.
• Lead specific workstreams such as diligence processes and serve as the primary liaison for industry experts, management teams, and investment partners.
• Collaborate with other top‑tier asset managers and private equity funds on co‑investment opportunities.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in M&A at a leading investment bank or in a private equity role with prior investment‑banking exposure.
• Strong academic background from a top‑tier university.
• High professional integrity and solid business acumen.
• Native‑level or business‑fluent English proficiency.
