Audio-visual Engineer

About the role

The Audio-visual Engineer will be responsible for managing the installation and commissioning of AV and lighting control systems across projects in Abu Dhabi. The role involves ensuring equipment specifications are accurate, systems are tested, and documentation is prepared for hand‑over.

Key responsibilities

• Manage AV & lighting control system installations and commissioning.
• Verify equipment specifications during the pre‑installation stage.
• Develop site‑specific method statements, risk assessments and uphold health and safety requirements.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations, and conduct thorough system testing.
• Prepare operation & maintenance manuals and training documentation.
• Coordinate with main contractors, subcontractors and supplier technical teams for integration and configuration.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Electronics or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years hands‑on experience with AV & lighting control systems.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team; UAE driving licence is an advantage.

Required skills

• AV & Lighting Control System configuration and integration.
• Windows Server setup and software installation for AV systems.
• System testing, commissioning and troubleshooting.
• Certification on relevant AV/Lighting Control platforms (preferred).
