Audit & Assurance Manager – Abu Dhabi

About the role

Deloitte Middle East is seeking an experienced Audit & Assurance Manager to lead audit engagements in Abu Dhabi. You will work with a diverse client portfolio, applying rigorous audit methodology while delivering high‑quality insights.

Key responsibilities

• Review transaction flows and control testing early in the audit cycle to shape the audit approach.
• Suggest mitigating testing when controls are ineffective, exercising professional scepticism.
• Identify value‑adding opportunities and coordinate specialist resources across the firm.
• Participate in group risk assessment and scope work for component auditors.
• Prepare and review referral instructions, ensuring clear expectations for group auditors.
• Conduct regular file checks to maintain audit quality standards.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) with several years of audit experience.
• Proven ability to lead audit teams and manage client relationships.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to assess complex control environments.
