Audit Supervisor – Financial Services (Dubai)

About the role

We are seeking an Audit Supervisor to lead financial services audits in Dubai. The role involves executing the audit plan, reducing client risk and delivering insights that drive revenue, using KPMG‑aligned methodologies.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute audit engagements, allocating work to audit assistants.
• Coach and mentor audit assistants throughout fieldwork.
• Prepare financial statements, transmittal letters and other deliverables.
• Keep managers and partners informed of progress and issues.
• Obtain partner and manager reviews and complete documentation.
• Analyze work‑in‑progress costs and prepare fee note requisitions.
• Maintain strong relationships with client financial management and oversee medium‑ to large‑size clients.
• Attend and follow up on stock counts.

Required profile

• BSc in Accounting or equivalent.
• Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CPA) or equivalent.
• Thorough knowledge of IFRS and ISA.
• Minimum three years audit experience, including at least two years post‑qualification.
• Experience with clients in real‑estate, construction, oil & gas sectors.
• Hands‑on experience with advanced audit methodologies.
