Audit Supervisor – Financial Services

About the role

KPMG is seeking an Audit Supervisor to lead audit engagements for medium and large financial services clients in Dubai. You will apply KPMG’s audit methodology to reduce risk and enhance revenue for our clients while delivering high‑quality audit deliverables.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute audit engagements, including fieldwork and allocation of tasks to audit assistants.
• Coach and mentor junior staff, ensuring timely completion of workpapers.
• Prepare financial statements, transmittal letters, and other client deliverables.
• Maintain regular communication with managers and partners, providing progress updates and escalating issues.
• Coordinate partner and manager reviews, complete documentation, and follow up on outstanding information.
• Analyze work‑in‑progress costs, prepare fee note requisitions, and support debt collection.
• Build and sustain strong relationships with clients’ financial management teams.
• Attend and follow up on stock counts as required.

Required profile

• BSc in Accounting or equivalent; professional qualification such as ACCA or CPA.
• Minimum 3 years of audit experience, with at least 2 years post‑qualification.
• Experience with clients in real estate, construction, oil & gas, or related sectors.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and ISA standards.
• Fluent in English and Arabic.
