Audit Supervisor – UAE (Full-time)

About the role

The Audit Supervisor will lead the planning, execution and delivery of statutory and other audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of UAE clients. Reporting to senior management, you will ensure audits are performed in line with International Standards on Auditing (ISAs) and local regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop audit plans, assess risks and determine appropriate procedures based on materiality and engagement risk.
• Execute and supervise audit fieldwork, including substantive testing, internal control evaluation and documentation.
• Review financial statements and disclosures for compliance with IFRS and UAE regulations.
• Supervise, coach and review the work of junior auditors and other team members.
• Manage audit timelines, budgets and client communications, and prepare management letters and audit findings.

Required profile

• ACCA Affiliate/Member or equivalent internationally recognised accounting qualification.
• 4–6 years of external audit experience in a professional audit firm, with at least 1–2 years supervising engagements.
• UAE audit experience and familiarity with SMEs and owner‑managed businesses is a strong advantage.

Required skills

• Strong working knowledge of IFRS and International Standards on Auditing (ISAs).
• Audit risk assessment, materiality, sampling and substantive audit procedures.
• Financial statement preparation and review.
• Knowledge of UAE Corporate Tax and VAT.
• Proficiency with audit software and cloud‑based accounting platforms.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and general IT skills.
